Jo Anne moved to Cordes Lakes in 2002 from Springfield Oregon. She and her husband were raised in Phoenix, left to live in Oregon, got webbed feet and moved back to Arizona. The main reason they chose to live in Cordes is for the location to I-17, as he is a truck driver. Cordes has affordable housing, a low crime rate and is a nice quiet rural community. They came to realize after living here for a short time that it is a perfect place to live and play. The best part is being able to ride the hundreds of trails directly from their driveway. They both ride quads and have the greatest time riding up to Crown King, down to Sheppards Crossing, or just exploring.
